I know we are all still in shock over the recent chaos, violence and deaths in Minnesota. As we move forward, I want to offer clear and concise recommendations for accountability and the restoration of justice and public trust:
- A full, independent investigation must be conducted by federal, state, and local authorities. No one is above the law, and we must uphold that principle without exception.
- Kristi Noem and Greg Bovino — Individuals who knowingly lie and slander innocent people have no place in federal service. They should be removed from their positions. If the President refuses to act, Congress should consider impeachment proceedings for Noem. While Bovino cannot be impeached, I hope the families involved pursue appropriate legal action for the harm caused.
- ICE personnel involved in the shootings of American citizens — These individuals should be immediately suspended. Once a thorough and comprehensive investigation is completed, the law must be applied equally to anyone whose actions fall outside legal and ethical boundaries.
- Donald Trump — His recent conduct demands accountability. His behavior raises serious concerns about his ability to fulfill the duties of the presidency, and it may be necessary to begin proceedings under the 25th Amendment.
I’m not an attorney—and I’m grateful for that—but these recommendations reflect a seriousness and urgency far beyond what we are hearing from Washington. Too often, politicians choose speeches over solutions and noise over action. The American people deserve better. They deserve accountability, integrity, and decisive leadership.
It is time for all of us to stand up for America!
