Hello,
Based on the statewide straw poll results for the state races, I am withdrawing my name from the Colorado State Treasurer race and will not be attending the Democratic State Assembly on March 28th in Pueblo. My family members and I, who are voting delegates, will be assigning proxies to participate on our behalf.
Over the past several months, I’ve had the privilege of traveling across Colorado with my wife, Julie—meeting new people, hearing fresh ideas, and engaging in meaningful conversations about our state’s future. These experiences have been both energizing and deeply rewarding. I am grateful for the votes I received in the state candidate straw poll from so many Coloradans, especially those in Jefferson County who cast their vote for me.
As always, and for the next ten months, my focus remains on serving the residents and taxpayers of Jefferson County. When one door closes, another opens. I look forward to exploring new opportunities in both the private and public sectors—an exciting next chapter for my family and me.
As for the State Treasurer’s race, the candidate whose approach and vision most closely align with mine is Senator Jeff Bridges. We share a commitment to invest in Colorado—not Wall Street—and to protect and strengthen public education, housing, and the Colorado Public Employee Retirement Association (PERA).
Jeff and I have spoken throughout this campaign, and I wholeheartedly endorse him to be Colorado’s next State Treasurer. Finally, I respectfully ask the delegates who are supporting me at the State Assembly to cast their votes for Jeff.
If you have any questions, feel free to call or text me at 720‑253‑6785. Phone is the best way to reach me going forward.
In Solidarity,
Jerry DiTullio, MBA, M.Ed.
Jefferson County Treasurer
